Inspiration: Jean-Claude de Beaufort

I had just moved in with Pickles in West Palm when I finished Blood Red Roses and started Nephilim. If you've read BRR, you know that Jean was involved quite a lot. I'd had Jean-Claude de Beaufort in my mind long before White Collar came on, but it wasn't until I saw the pearly white smile and brilliant blue eyes of Matt Bomer that the character began to scream at me and Jean-Claude became more than a 2D character. Until then I had felt very disconnected from Jean-Claude, but then I had a face and a voice and mannerisms to draw from.
