Some people believe there is life on other planets. The interest level and the lack of true facts have caused the subject of "aliens" to be thoroughly exhausted through movies, television, and literature. Those pieces of entertainment have given people something to either hope for or fear. The belief has lost some credibility due to the majority of people who claim to have made contact with extraterrestrials having their claims proven as lies. Due to these hoaxes, the likelihood of ever finding true and proven information on extraterrestrials is improbable. Even with all of the debunked hoaxes, people still believe there is life on other planets and it's hard to say that there isn't.
