"Ding Dong" | The I-Land | Episode 2

Chase wakes up to see a raft hanging out in the water. She runs toward it, only to step on something sharp and hurt herself. For some reason, she decides to take her knife belt off and jump into the water, bleeding everywhere. Nobody watches Shark Week on these shows, do they? She somehow makes it to the raft while the shark chases her. The shark is chasing Chase. Ha. The raft turns out to be this weird floating tent thingy with a bunch of supplies in it. She kindly, and inexplicably, drags it back to the beach. I say inexplicably because the thing is massive and could easily hold all of them, but she somehow she either oared back or dragged it.... we come back from the title sequence to her standing on the beach next to it.

"I'm a skinny-ass white girl, doesn't mean I don't like to eat." No truer words have ever been uttered. Too bad I absolutely hate the character who said them. K.C. is emotionless, but forces a strange abrasive demeanor when dealing with Chase. She instantly had an issue with her and only her.

A storm is coming. A fight occurs between Brody and Cooper, resulting in Brody grabbing Chase's knife. Brody and Cooper go into the jungle. As the storm comes in, Chase leads everyone to the giant house of a tent.

In the morning, Chase finds her smashed conch shell and the tracker. She runs down the beach to find Brody (Pettyfer) just cooking some crabs over a fire. She tells him he should go wake the others and goes about trying to use the tracker to open a lockbox she'd found. She gets it open and finds a pistol.

K.C. confesses to Blair that Brody attacked her.

Chase and Cooper walk up the cliffs to see if they can spot anything.

Can we talk about how amazing Taylor's hats are???? She made hats like nobody's business. And her friendship with Moses is absolutely adorable and made me legitimately smile. He catches a fish and she runs down the beach to congratulate him as he tells her she owes him a hat.

Chase and Cooper find a mansion in the jungle. They tell the group about it, but Brody fights Chase because his waterfall is way cooler place to live. Who would want to live in a mansion with beds and running water? Also.... super suspish. They get into a physical altercation which leads the group to send both Chase and Brody away.

Chase wakes up in the tent when the group drags her out of it. Brody had been stabbed and left for dead on the beach. Ding dong, the creep is dead. She tries to fight her way from the group, but K.C. clocks her in the face with a branch or something.

When she comes to, she's in a base of some sort, numb from the neck down. It's the I-Land facility.
