Time Sucking Update

Good morning, everyone. In my waning free time I'm scrambling to get in some time with these two gorgeous people. Of course the luminous Evan Rachel Wood is my inspiration for Queen Sarah herself and the drop dead gorgeous Ville Valo is my inspiration for the drop dead gorgeous and villainous Sampsa Auvo. Ms. Barker and Mr. Auvo have been forced to the side for a long time now and are screaming at me at this point. So I've been hanging out with them all morning. Well, with Queen Sarah. Sampsa is being his aloof self as usual.

LILITH & THE NEPHILIM picks up four months after Wings of the Nephilim and I'm tasked with making captivity entertaining and interesting enough to keep still in Sampsa's tower. Tough work, especially when our queen likes to do whatever the heck she likes to do. I'm honestly surprised she hasn't just jumped out of the window, hoping to survive the fall. She likes to do stupid things like that.

While Queen Sarah and Sampsa's lives are moving slower than molasses, mine is moving faster than ever before. My smoking hot engineer and I are still going strong. He's absolutely amazing, my rock. He'll be affectionately called Dingo here because of reasons. Dingo and I have joined forces with my nephew Bubba and his friends to create The Llama's Moustache, a family-friendly gamer channel of YouTube. Yet another time sucker. Yesterday I went into Target for an interview - my very first job interview - and after an hour or so walked out as a potential Team Member. This morning I signed up for a business course at our local college, which starts on August 26th.

So to say that I will have very little free time in the future is a horrific understatement. I didn't take into account until opening my laptop this morning that LILITH & THE NEPHILIM is going to be the most difficult installment to write yet. It is the first of the re-vamped series to really stray from the original series. I haven't been able to really sit down and write in so long that I forgot it isn't as simple as just putting syllables after syllables. It's going to have to make sense. Eventually. Right?
