Mini-Triathlon

Just spent about 6 1/2 hours at the Rotary of Woodridge's 15th annual Mini-Triathlon. I volunteered this year to be one of the photographers and it was awesome. I was encouraged to volunteer by the grandpa of one of my nephew's teammates. I'd put a video together for the team and just off of that, he contacted me through my sister about volunteering. I was very apprehensive about it, but I realized that my anxiety can't get the best of me and I told him I'd do it. I drove there at 5:25 this morning and signed in all by myself, which if you ask anyone is a feat for me. I'm home now and even though I'm tired, sore, and slightly sunburnt, I'm so happy I didn't get stuck in my own head and did this. It was incredible and I'm ready to do it next year.
